Advanced Placement

Depending upon your College Board Advanced Placement exam scrores, you may receive both advanced placement and credit for the appropriate subjects:

Tulane also awards credit or advanced placement for International Baccalaureate scores of 5 or greater on a higher level test. No credit or placement will be awarded for the subsidiary tests. Specific decisions regarding credit or placement will be made by individual departments.

This table shows the level of placement and amount of credit students typically receive. Students should have their score reports sent directly to Tulane from the College Board.
