Tulane boasts one of the oldest and most storied athletic programs in the Southeast and one of the most comprehensive collegiate club sports programs in the country. Whether you are competing or cheering on the Green Wave, athletics are an integral part of life at Tulane.
Varsity Athletics: Tulane's varsity teams are know as the Green Wave, and they play at the highest level (Division I-A) of the NCAA in Conference USA. Since Katrina, Green Wave athletes have included eight sports:

By the 2010 - 2011 academic year, Tulane is scheduled to have the same number of varsity athletic programs that it carried before Hurricane Katrina. Returning programs include men's tennis, women's swimming and diving, women's bowling and women's soccer.
Intramural Sports: Tulane has a very active intramural sports scene: over 75% of students participate in intramural sports every year. Programs include basketball, indoor and outdoor soccer, badminton, squash, tennis, softball and several more.
Club Sports: With over 30 different club sports at Tulane - from Lacrosse and Cricket to Waterskiing and Sailing - there is something for everyone:
