Tulane Book Award

The Tulane Book Award recognizes high school juniors who embody Tulane's motto of "Not for one's self, but for one's own" and have demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership, and public service. The award is given to one outstanding student at select high schools across the country every year. Each student will receive a book, a certificate of recognition, and a personal letter of congratulations that honors their achievements and uniquely identifies Tulane’s recognition of their accomplishments.

Please submit the online nomination form by June 1. Nominations are accepted from high school counselors only. Awards will be mailed every other week beginning March 1 as nominations are received for distribution to the selected student at the year-end award ceremony. If you have any questions, contact Valerie Calenda at vtimmer@tulane.edu or (504) 430-9431.
