Cognitive Studies+

Cognitive Studies is an exciting and rapidly developing coalition of disciplines which include philosophy of mind, logic, cognitive and evolutionary psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, and anthropology. Cognitive Studies at Tulane is a coordinate major, which means a student must also declare one additional major of their choice. The program consists of a ten-course requirement comprised of required courses and electives. It is organized along three tracks – formal disciplines, psychology, and philosophy – which best represent the core of cognitive science today.
