Tulane students find no end of things to do here. The academics are challenging, but you will always have time to enjoy our campus and our one-of-a-kind city. You might find us studying (or having class) on the quad…in January or checking out the latest bands at a jazz club in the French Quarter or rollerblading in the world-famous Audubon Park across the street. With the average temperature never dropping below 50 degrees, flip flops and shorts are year round attire!
Students here generally find a good balance between exploring the wealth of activities New Orleans has to offer and becoming engaged in campus life. With over 200 campus organizations, you are sure to find the perfect fit for your passions. From club sports to Greek life, the television station to student government or community service organizations to our very own bird watching society, it’s nearly impossible to be bored!
Whatever you choose to do outside class, the lifestyle is active–and comfortable. Students find it easy to be part of Tulane's campus community, and it’s never long before they start calling New Orleans “home.”
