Special Programs
We offer several other special admission programs in addition to our daily tours and information sessions.
Destination Tulane (Spring): All admitted students and their families are invited to attend Destination Tulane, a special program that gives students a comprehensive look at what life is like as a Tulane student. During each Destination Tulane day, students have the opportunity to:
- Sit in on a class with Tulane professors and students
- Meet current students along with other future members of the next incoming class
- Tour the historic Tulane campus and eat lunch in the Tulane dining hall
- Get answers to many questions regarding academics, financial aid and student life
- Spring 2013 Destnation Tulane dates are:

Lunch with a Current Student (Spring): Admitted students are encouraged to have lunch with a current Tulane student during their visit. We ask that students submit requests at least a week in advance. Lunches are held at 12pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 12:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Although lunches are not guaranteed on Saturdays, we will do our best to accommodate all requests. Lunches are not offered during "Destination Tulane" dates, as the program already includes lunch with current students. Click here to fill out a request form!
Campus Preview Days (Fall): There are four Campus Preview Days in the fall for prospective students and their families. Each day includes an informational overview; student panels; informational panels on study abroad, admission and financial aid; and a campus tour. Check back this summer for fall 2013 dates.
Louisiana Week / Louisiana Campus Preview Day (Fall and Spring): Louisiana week provides Louisiana students with the opportunity to have a comprehensive and informative day on Tulane's campus. The program includes a campus tour, an admission and financial aid discussion, and a student panel. Please re-visit this page in the summer for fall 2013 Louisiana Week dates!
Receptions for Prospective Students (Fall): Admission Counselors will be hosting receptions for prospective students throughout the country in the fall. Receptions provide students the opportunity to learn about Tulane without ever leaving home.
