Jordan Moos

Jordan Moos

Hi there! My name is Jordan Moos, and I am from Huntington Beach, California. I am majoring in Public Health, and I plan to pursue my major’s combined Masters degree program. I am also on the pre-med track and hope to become a pediatrician. Before I came to Tulane, I attended a small liberal arts school on an academic and soccer scholarship. Although I loved my team, I wanted to pursue a larger campus that offered more academic opportunities and shared my passion for giving back to the community. I am beyond thankful for deciding to transfer to Tulane. Coming from an area just outside Los Angeles, I figured that no city could match the opportunities offered by my home city. However, I’ve discovered quite quickly that New Orleans surpasses even that of LA. No matter what students are interested in pursuing, whether that be internships, research, volunteer positions, New Orleans has it all. I myself volunteer at the local Children’s Hospital by helping out in the NICU which is only a bike ride away from campus. I’ve attended this school for one semester so far, and I already feel that I have truly found my home. Tulane students and faculty are some of the most genuine people I have ever met, and Tulane has allowed me to meet my closest friends either through my sorority or club soccer. I love my school, and I hope you choose to join our Green Wave family!
