Hello! My name is Miranda Sinsheimer and I am from Berkeley, California. I am double majoring in Political Science and Communications and minoring in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Before Tulane, I spent my freshman year at a Jesuit university in Pennsylvania. Although I liked the school, it just was not the right fit for me, and I began to explore places where I could transfer.
My hope was to find a place where I felt at home but allowed me to experience another part of the country. On my first visit here, I fell in love with the campus, the people, and the city of New Orleans. Tulane presents opportunities and experiences that are unlike any other and from the beginning felt like the perfect choice for me.
In my time here, I have come to know the most welcoming, dedicated, and supportive students, faculty, and staff that have made my transfer experience so simple and fun. Tulane has so many amazing resources on campus that make it easy to get involved with academics, clubs or whatever extracurriculars are of interest to you.
As well as being a Transfer Student Ambassador, I currently serve as the Transfer Student Ambassador to USG (undergraduate student government), am a member of a Sorority and Pre-Law Fraternity, and take part in several service-oriented organizations. I am so happy to have found my home away from home, so please do not hesitate to reach out with questions!
