Hi, my name is Sam Fisch and I am from Philadelphia, PA. I am a double major in Anthropology and Public Health on a Pre-Law track. During my fall semester, I studied at the American University of Paris. Being able to study in Paris allowed me to see the world from a completely new perspective. In high school, I was an exchange student in Granada, Spain so I understood how impactful time abroad could be. During my semester, I was able to travel to numerous cities, practice my French skills, and meet some amazing people.
I knew Tulane was the school for me for a plethora of reasons, but what drew me in was the culture and flexibility. New Orleans’ lively atmosphere along with Tulane’s comprehensive curriculum enables me to explore my various interests. Going abroad only accelerated my appreciation of the school, and led me to be an ever more curious person, excited to take advantage of these opportunities.
Since arriving on campus, I have taken advantage of the numerous clubs like Fossil Free Tulane and have become active members of Tulane’s Pre-Law fraternity. Furthermore, I have found an amazing group of people to share my curiosity with, as well as go to Mardi Gras parades. Although starting college spring semester may seem untraditional, I could not have had it any other way. If you have any questions, let me know!
