Coming from a tiny northeastern town in Massachusetts, when I graduated high school, I was ready for something new and different. As soon as I stepped onto Tulane’s campus and saw the palm trees, felt the heat, and heard the music, I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for. During my four years at Tulane, I was very involved in my a cappella group, Green Envy, the Green Wave Ambassadors, and the Admission Department. I studied abroad in Dakar, Senegal my junior year, and graduated with a BA in Sociology and minors in Music and French. Upon my graduation in 2015, I joined the Teach for America Greater New Orleans Corps and taught kindergarten for two years at a local charter school. These days, along with working as the Visual & Performing Arts Coordinator for Tulane’s Admission Department, you can find me lead singing in my band, Miss Mojo, which was born at Tulane, at venues around New Orleans as well as all around the country. When I’m not working or performing, I’m generally rehearsing, hanging with my Tulane crew that has also never left, eating, yoga-ing, and continuously exploring all that this magical city has to offer. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any and all questions!
