People say that New Orleans has a way with capturing your heart, and that's exactly what it did to me! I grew up in Alameda, California with shorter life stops in Arizona, Kansas, and North Carolina, which have all lead me here to New Orleans. Living in New Orleans since 2013, I have discovered the beauty of the Bayou; the spirit of celebrating every food, music, and culture that exists; and the life giving energy and authenticity of the people who live here. College was a life changing experience for me in understanding who I was, who I wanted to be, and how I wanted to engage with the rest of the world. It is this experience that has been at the core of my career motivation and navigation. My career in Higher Education has involved connecting students to get involved on campus; encouraging students with their career goals and aspirations; and advocating for increased access, inclusion, and equity for underrepresented populations on campus. I'm happy to support you in this process of determining if Tulane is a good fit for you!
