My “Only at Tulane” Moment:

My Translation Studies Theory course spent an entire class discussing the “translation” of the concept of bread, during which we sampled King Cake and other bread products from local New Orleans bakeries.

My “Only in New Orleans” Moment:

I was walking with a friend in Audubon park when a group of about fifty people came dancing our way. We didn’t know what the miniature parade was celebrating, but that didn’t stop us from joining in the fun!

My Best College Search Process Tip:

When writing your essays, be as specific as possible. Essays that are too broad or rely on general themes often fall short when it comes to conveying a clear image of the writer. Essays incorporating specific details and personal touches, however, stand out.
