Favorite NOLA Restaurant:

Superior Seafood

Favorite Spot on Campus:

Hands down, the Bead Tree. While this is the most picturesque place on campus, it also holds a special place in my heart since that is where I got engaged on Mardi Gras Day 2019 to another Tulane alum!

My “Only at Tulane” Moment:

I went on Birthright Israel one year after graduation and ran into a classmate who graduated from Tulane with me in another Birthright group at a campfire in the middle of the desert. We have a very active Jewish community at Tulane, which is something I was looking for during my college search.

My “Only in New Orleans” Moment:

When everyone who moves here embraces the Saints wholeheartedly, even if they are already huge fans of another NFL team. It’s rare to find a TU student who isn’t in awe of Drew Brees, love Alvin Kamara’s quirks, or feel completely devastated when the refs miss a vital pass interference call! Instead of watching the Superbowl, the city paraded, celebrating the Saints’ season with the Boycott Bowl 2019, a.k.a. the most NOLA thing ever.

My Best College Search Process Tip:

Don’t hesitate to reach out to your assigned admission counselor with questions. We can help explain what we look for in an application, connect you with students so you can learn about their experiences, and give you the best tips for visiting. We’re real people who are here to help you and be your advocate!
