Newcomb Art Museum is a gem on campus! With numerous exhibitions of local and international artists the Newcomb Art Museum has been named the Best Gallery Museum three years running.
During my senior year service- learning project my class of 15 students worked together to create, design, implement and paint a huge wall mural throughout the entrance and hallways of a local elementary school. This larger than life educational mural is a vibrant form of expression that will live on for years to come.
For the past five years I’ve been dancing in a Mardi Gras dance Krewe the Candy Girls. Marching in a parade makes you feel like you are famous with all the crowds screaming for you.
