The finance major takes an integrated approach to concepts of valuation, investment, fixed income analysis, and risk management. Students gain applicable skills and knowledge with experiential learning courses including Burkenroad Reports, the Darwin Fenner Student Managed Fund, the Aaron Selber Course in Alternative Investments, and Energy Trading. Students can add a specialized career track in Corporate Finance or Investment Banking or a specialization in Entrepreneurship or Energy. The A.B. Freeman School of Business offers well-defined majors with great emphasis on ethics, computer modeling, and writing skills. The program integrates the liberal arts and sciences with majors in finance, legal studies in business, management and marketing. In addition, the Freeman School offers a highly personalized academic environment that contributes to professional development. Goldring/Woldenberg Complex, home to the Freeman School, provides its own library, computer labs, undergraduate education and program office, management communication center, trading room, and career management center.
