Hello, my name is Ashin Leblond. I am from a military family, so I consider myself from multiple places. I have lived in 9 states, and was born in a German town called Gelnhausen. I am studying Biomedical Engineering at Tulane School of Science and Engineering, and I also participate in the Army ROTC program. Because I was a Spring Scholar, I had the opportunity to nanny for a military family near Honolulu, Hawaii, which is where I spent my gap semester. In the short time that I have been at Tulane, I have already become involved with the intramural sports program to become a referee, which really helped to meet people here. Tulane’s campus environment has helped me acclimate into social life quickly and all that Tulane has to offer. Almost everyone is willing to talk and/or eat with you, all you have to do is show interest!
