Hi! I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana—and I was raised here, for a little bit. I grew up in Miami, Florida. I was accepted into Tulane’s Class of 2020 as a regular decision applicant in my senior year of high school. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, and I wound up going to another university in New Orleans for my 1st year of college. After reaffirming that Tulane was the right school for me—due heavily to its amazing Political Science program—I applied and was accepted for the Fall 2017 semester. Since I arrived on campus in Fall ’17, I have become involved in several clubs and service opportunities. I am a member of Dat Dance Crew and Women in Politics, and I am a News Staff Writer for the Tulane Hullabaloo. I also had the opportunity to volunteer at the Tulane Reading Room as a Reading Buddy for grade school students. I am a Political Science major, with a minor in English. This semester, I will volunteer with United Way for my Women’s Legislative Leadership course. A self-proclaimed introvert, I am more involved at Tulane than I have been anywhere else, and I can honestly say that I’m finally at home!
