Starting my Tulane experience abroad was honestly the best way I could have begun college. Living in Paris pushed me to be more independent and confident, and I loved being able to immerse myself in a new culture and language. I balanced classes with traveling and exploring, and I am so grateful for the lifelong memories I got to make with the other Spring Scholars. By the time I arrived on campus in the spring, I felt prepared and so excited for what was to come. The growth and perspective I gained abroad made my transition feel so smooth, and I truly wouldn’t change a thing about starting as a Spring Scholar.
