Student health and wellness is a priority at Tulane. Students enjoy pilates, yoga, spinning, a 7,000 square-foot weight room, and an Olympic-size swimming pool. Tulane also provides a variety of top-notch health and medical resources right on campus.
Students stay fit at Tulane's Reily Center, a state-of-the-art recreational facility encompassing 156,000 square feet and includes a 1/9th-mile indoor track, basketball, racquetball, squash, and volleyball courts, a weight room, and studios for aerobics, yoga, and pilates. Wellness programs, including fitness consultations and personal training sessions, are available at the Reily Center, as are multiple free group exercise classes.
Aside from working out at the Reily Center, students take advantage of many other ways to stay in shape. Tulane has over 35 different club sports and several intramural sports. Our campus is also right across the street from Audubon Park, a fantastic place to walk, jog, or even play golf.
Tulane Campus Health offers students an integrated, holistic approach to physical and mental well-being with innovative services. Campus Health departments include The Health Center for Student Care, CAPS for Counseling Services, and The Well for Health Promotion. Together, the departments deliver health resources, prevention strategies, education, training, and leadership to promote the Tulane community’s well-being.
