Veterans Admission & Financial Aid

Veterans, students from U.S. military-serving families, and students who are affiliated with military organizations (i.e. ROTC) follow the same admission and financial aid application procedures as all students considering Tulane.

Applying for Admission

Before applying for admission to Tulane, learn about our academic programs to determine if Tulane is right for you. Contact Trinity Sager, our admission officer assigned to help veterans navigate the admission process, at tsager@tulane.edu

Learn about applying for admission to our full-time undergraduate programs in our 5 undergraduate schools on the Tulane Undergraduate Admission Apply page and applying for admission to our graduate programs on the university's Graduate Admission page.

If you are returning to college after an absence, are a working adult, looking for a part-time or full-time flexible degree program, learn about applying to our School of Professional Advancement.

If you are applying for transfer admission to Tulane, be sure to consult our directions on how to have your credit evaluated for admission to Newcomb-Tulane College or to the School of Professional Advancement. You should also view our academic policies on transfer credit at Newcomb-Tulane College and/or the School of Professional Advancement. Policies on how transfer credit works are different between these two undergraduate schools. For example, our School of Professional Advancement offers prior learning credit that can be awarded for learning outside of the classroom, including work experience, previous education, military and other post-secondary training.

Applying for Financial Aid

The process for applying for financial aid depends on whether you are an undergraduate student or a graduate student.
