Majors & Minors

Want to double major in political science and French? Or possibly triple major—in German, linguistics and music? At Tulane, it’s possible. Tulane offers a wide range of majors and minors and encourages cross-disciplinary studies through its ten schools and college. You can build a unique educational experience at Tulane.

Tulane Student in Lab

Tulane pairs the resources of a large research university with the benefits of a small liberal arts college. Work with faculty mentors and find research opportunities, even as an undergrad. And study abroad is encouraged—Tulane's Office of Study Abroad offers over 100 different programs in over 40 different countries.

(Don’t worry if you’re unsure about a major; most entering students are undecided when they begin at Tulane. You’re not required to declare a major until the start of your fourth semester, and the Academic Advising Center can help.)
