Hi, my name is Arya and I am studying Neuroscience and Exercise Science. Transferring schools is never an easy decision, and the prospect can be quite overwhelming. My initial experience at a large university, with over 50,000 students, left me feeling like a mere face in the crowd. I longed for a more intimate and personalized academic setting, which led me to consider transferring to a smaller university. Tulane not only met me where I was in my transfer process but exceeded my expectations in every way. The warmth and support I encountered from everyone at Tulane made the decision-making process significantly smoother. Whether it was navigating my classes, participating in extracurricular activities, or exploring the vibrant city of New Orleans with newfound friends, I found myself relishing every aspect of college life that I had longed for during my time at my previous school.
