The Tulane Book Award recognizes high school juniors who embody Tulane's motto of "Not for one's self, but for one's own" and have demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership, and public service. The award is given to one outstanding student at select high schools across the country every year. Each student will receive a book, a certificate of recognition, and a personal letter of congratulations that honors their achievements and uniquely identifies Tulane’s recognition of their accomplishments.
The online nomination form will be available in early February. Nominations are accepted from high school counselors only. The book will be sent to the high school in early April for distribution to the selected student at the year-end award ceremony.
