Hi, I’m Lotte from San Francisco, CA. I am currently majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Public Health. I spent my fall semester at JCU in Rome, where I spent my time traveling and enjoying European culture whilst also balancing a heavy course load in preparation for my intended premed path. When I was first admitted as a spring scholar, I was unsure about the program. However, after meeting a few fellow Spring Scholars, I realized I would have a network of Tulane students with me for life. The students I went abroad with have become my best friends and family, and we will forever cherish the time we spent together traveling the world and gaining independence. This was also a huge advantage as I seamlessly transitioned to Tulane in January. Though slightly untraditional, my semester abroad was a necessary time to gain perspective and experience something priceless before stepping on campus!
