Favorite NOLA Restaurant:

Stein’s Deli on Magazine Street. They don’t have a bad thing on their menu, and it will feel like home to our friends from the east coast.

Favorite Spot on Campus:

Dixon Concert Hall. It’s one of the most beautiful theaters in the city and I’ve been so lucky to get to perform there.

My “Only in New Orleans” Moment:

I once went to a bubble protest…that’s right a bubble protest. Someone moved into a townhouse across the street from a beloved restaurant in the French Quarter that happens to have a bubble machine. Since the new neighbor tried to get the bubble machine removed, close to 100 of us loaded up our bubble wands and danced in the street in front of his house. I also had some pretty amazing chargrilled oysters in the process.

My Best College Search Process Tip:

Don’t be a stranger! People breathe life into the colleges you are looking into and getting to know the people that represent the schools you are interested in will help you really get a sense of the community that the institution has to offer (and ultimately be the ones who help you cross that finish line in four years). People like your admissions counselors are here to help you succeed, so get your questions answered and don’t suffer in silence!
