My “Only in New Orleans” Moment:
Living in a city where multiple Mardi Gras parades go right past my house. After attending several Mardi Gras events, I was able to go home, sit on my steps and watch thousands of people walk by in costumes. One of the greatest things about living in the Marigny--one of the most colorful neighborhoods--is being walking distance to the French quarter, streetcar, and the Mississippi river!
My Best College Search Process Tip:
Everything from location, culture, and academics can impact how successful you are in school, so make sure to start researching early. It may help to make a pros and cons list for colleges you’re considering. Take your time researching the right college for you so that you feel comfortable and enjoy the 4 years you’ll spend at your university.
