Favorite NOLA Restaurant:

Margot's, located in the Marigny. I can easily eat one of their wood-fired pizzas by myself - their flavor combinations are amazing!

Favorite Spot on Campus:

The front steps of Gibson Hall are so special to me. There's something magical about seeing the streetcar go by on a busy day; it reminds me of the amazing people in this city and the diversity of experiences we have as we go about our lives.

My “Only in New Orleans” Moment:

My "Only in New Orleans Moment" is a recurring moment I have with many people I meet. I mention a friend's name in conversation with someone I've just met, and they go, "Oh, I know them too, they're great! How long have you known each other?" This happens with everyone: tourists, locals, regular visitors, people on the street etc., and it speaks to how interconnected and social New Orleans is! Those senses of community and connectivity are what drew me to this colorful city, and are integral parts of my New Orleans experience.

My Best College Search Process Tip:

In your search, find ways to open doors and keep them open! Make choices that will cause the fewest limiting factors for your future: your interests, values, desires, personality, and the world may all change, so follow paths that accommodate those changes. Additionally, joy will never lead you wrong!
