Who is invited to attend BienvenueTU?
BienvenueTU is a campus visit program for admitted students. Programming is tailored to share academic and social resources at Tulane and foster belonging and community for students who identify with one or more of the following identities: first in their household to attend college, LGBTQIA+, students from limited income backgrounds, students from rural or small towns, and/or students of color. BienvenueTU occurs both virtually and on campus.
Can I Bring My Parents to In-Person BTU?
Absolutely! However, we do have limited space available for attendees, so we recommend limiting the number of family members you bring if possible.
Where Should I Stay?
We recognize that students may no longer be able to attend PTU as they will now need to travel with a parent or guardian to secure off-campus housing. For students who will be traveling into town with family, we have put together a list of hotels that Tulane partners with for discounted rates. There are also many Airbnbs in the area surrounding campus.
Travel Support
A limited number of stipends are available to prospective students with significant financial need.
