When is BienvenueTU?
In-person BTU will be held on Saturday, March 18th from 9am - 5pm Central. Check in for the event will begin at 8:30am.
Virtual BTU will be held on Saturday, February 25th from 11am - 2pm Central.
What's the Schedule?
In-person BTU will begin with sessions from the Admissions Office and our Diversity Fellows, followed by a campus tour and ending with programming from our Center for Intercultural Life and Center for Academic Equity (and you can expect some surprises throughout the day!)
Virtual BTU will also include sessions from the Admissions Office and our Diversity Fellows, as well as programming from our Center for Intercultural Life and Center for Academic Equity. We'll bring a little bit of New Orleans to you!
Can I Bring My Parents to In-Person BTU?
Absolutely! However, we do have limited space available for attendees, so we recommend limiting the number of family members you bring if possible.
Where Should I Stay?
We recognize that students may no longer be able to attend PTU as they will now need to travel with a parent or guardian to secure off-campus housing. For students who will be traveling into town with family, we have put together a list of hotels that Tulane partners with for discounted rates. There are also many Airbnbs in the area surrounding campus.
Travel Reimbursement Process
When registering for In-person BTU, students should have received the option to indicate their interest in receiving a partial travel reimbursement stipend. We are able to cover up to $300 of your total travel costs, including hotel, flights, or mileage driven.
Receipts should be uploaded to the Travel Reimbursement Form in your Green Wave Portal by March 20th, and reimbursements will be processed after BTU.
Students eligible to attend BTU who choose to attend another in-person event (such as Destination Tulane or Top Scholars Weekend) will not be eligible for reimbursement.
