Zoey Marks

My name is Zoey Marks, and I spent my first semester studying at the American University of Paris. I took classes such as Art History, where I explored numerous wonderful Paris museums on a weekly basis. As a double major in Environmental Studies and Political Science, I was able to meet some of my major requirements during my time abroad. Since arriving at Tulane, it has been so exciting to enjoy campus life with the friends I made abroad, while getting to know so many other students. Being a Spring Scholar has brought me so much growth, maturity, and confidence for Tulane campus life!

Hayden Heckenkemper

Hello! My name is Hayden Heckenkemper. I’m from Tulsa, Oklahoma, majoring in International Development with a French minor. Being accepted as a Spring Scholar came with excitement and hesitation, as I wasn’t sure what it would entail. A few short weeks into my study abroad in Paris, I knew I had made the right decision. Walking past the Eiffel Tower daily and taking a class in a new museum each week were just two of the immeasurable experiences during my first semester of college.

Molly Plunkett

My experience in London gave me an advantage in college because it helped me gain life experiences, while supporting my transition from high school to college. Over the semester, I was able to balance prioritizing myself while exploring my academic interests. I was able to visit over ten countries and make lifelong memories.

Lotte Schindler

Hi, I’m Lotte from San Francisco, CA. I am currently majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Public Health. I spent my fall semester at JCU in Rome, where I spent my time traveling and enjoying European culture whilst also balancing a heavy course load in preparation for my intended premed path. When I was first admitted as a spring scholar, I was unsure about the program. However, after meeting a few fellow Spring Scholars, I realized I would have a network of Tulane students with me for life.

Transferring to Tulane has easily been one of the best decisions I've made; the community, resources, and opportunities I've had access to are truly unrivaled! I can't emphasize enough how lucky I feel to go here.
