Preview Tulane

PreviewTU is a visit program for all prospective students, particularly those who are first generation college students and/or students from limited or low-income families. Programming is tailored to share social and academic resources at Tulane and foster community for students. PTU allows students to connect with our Pathfinders, learn more about admissions and financial aid at Tulane, and connect with campus resources. This program is hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Admission in collaboration with The Carolyn Barber Pierre Center for Intercultural Life, the The Office of Retention and Student Success, and the Office of International Students and Scholars, among others. We typically have a limited number of travel grants available to help lessen travel costs for students visiting Tulane’s campus for PreviewTU. Full grants will cover both a student’s flight and hotel costs, while partial grants can be used by students toward a flight or hotel costs, up to $500.

Bienvenue Tulane

BienvenueTU (BTU) will be held from Friday April 3rd- Saturday, April 4th, 2026. Programming for BTU will coincide with Destination Tulane on April 3rd!

BTU is open to all admitted students, however, this program has been designed to build community and meet the interests and needs of students who have been historically underrepresented at Tulane. This includes students from low-income backgrounds, students from rural or small towns, and students who are the first in their household to attend college.

At BienvenueTU, you can expect to:

  • Meet Tulane's Pathfinders: current students who can give you honest answers to your questions about Tulane.
  • Hear from campus partners from the Carolyn Barber-Pierre Center for Intercultural Life and other campus departments who will help in your transition to Tulane.
  • Meet other admitted students.

For more information, and to register for BienvenueTU, visit your Green Wave Portal.
