Tulane Receptions (Fall & Spring)
Meet Tulane admission counselors when they come to you! Tulane hosts several receptions in cities throughout the world for interested students and their families each fall, and for admitted students each spring.
Register for a "Tulane Comes to You" reception in your area this fall
Destination Tulane (Spring)
All admitted students and their families are invited to attend Destination Tulane, a spring program that gives admitted students a comprehensive look at what life is like as a Tulane student.
- Meet current students and other members of the incoming class
- Tour Tulane's historic campus and eat in the dining hall
- Get answers to many questions regarding academics, financial aid, and student life
Admitted students may sign up for a Destination Tulane date through the Green Wave Portal.
Junior Nights--Tips for Applying to Selective Universities
The college admission process can be daunting and intimidating. Join members of the Office of Admission at Tulane to learn tips for applying to selective universities and colleges, and join in on a candid discussion to demystify the college application process.
App Launch Event (Summer)
Join us for multiple virtual events over the summer leading to the launch of our Admission application. Sessions will cover every aspect of the college application process including tips and tricks of applying to selective schools, advice on how to start your college search, what to consider when picking your major, and more. You can virtually tour campus and sit in on student and staff panels. We also offer a session called ‘You’re the Dean’ that allows participants to act as admission committee members of a fictional school and gain insight while they make decisions on fictional applicants.

Preview Tulane
PreviewTU is a virtual program for prospective students, particularly those who are first generation college students and/or students from limited or low-income families. Programming is tailored to share social and academic resources at Tulane and foster community for students. PTU connects prospective students with our Pathfinders, learn more about admissions and financial aid at Tulane, and explore campus resources. This program is hosted in the fall by the Office of Undergraduate Admission in collaboration with The Carolyn Barber Pierre Center for Intercultural Life, The Office of Retention and Student Success, among others. Program dates will be posted by August 1st.
Bienvenue Tulane
BienvenueTU (BTU) is a virtual program open to all admitted students, however, this program has been designed to build community and meet the interests and needs of students who are first-generation to college, from limited or low-income backgrounds, or who have an interest in intercultural experiences.
During BienvenueTU, you can expect to:
- Meet Tulane's Pathfinders: current students who can give you honest answers to your questions about Tulane.
- Hear from campus partners from the Carolyn Barber-Pierre Center for Intercultural Life, First Year Experience, The Office of Retention and Student Success other campus departments who will help in your transition to Tulane.
- Connect with other admitted students to build community.
- Learn more about New Orleans
- Meet with the Office of Financial Aid
