Junior Nights--Tips for Applying to Selective Universities
The college admission process can be daunting and intimidating. Join members of the Office of Admission at Tulane to learn tips for applying to selective universities and colleges, and join in on a candid discussion to demystify the college application process.
App Launch Event (Summer)
Join us for multiple virtual events over the summer leading to the launch of our Admission application. Sessions will cover every aspect of the college application process including tips and tricks of applying to selective schools, advice on how to start your college search, what to consider when picking your major, and more. You can virtually tour campus and sit in on student and staff panels. We also offer a session called ‘You’re the Dean’ that allows participants to act as admission committee members of a fictional school and gain insight while they make decisions on fictional applicants.

Preview Tulane
Our PreviewTU is a visit program for prospective students, particularly those who are first generation college students and/or students from limited or low income families. Programming is tailored to share social and academic resources at Tulane and foster community for students. PTU allows students to connect with our Diversity Fellows, learn more about admissions and financial aid at Tulane, and connect with campus resources. This program is hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Admission in collaboration with The Center for Academic Equity, The Office of Multicultural Affairs, The Office of International Students and Scholars, and The Office of Gender and Sexual Diversity, among others. We typically have a limited number of travel grants available to help lessen travel costs for students visiting Tulane’s campus for PreviewTU. Full grants will cover both a student’s flight and hotel costs, while partial grants can be used by students toward a flight or hotel costs, up to $500.
Bienvenue Tulane
BienvenueTU (BTU) is a visit program for admitted students (and their families!) designed to build community and meet the interests and needs of first generation college students and students who are from limited or low income families.
