Advising

Tulane's vast support network includes faculty advisors and professional academic counselors who will help you plan your educational and career strategies throughout your time at Tulane.

Tulane ensures that professionals from the Advising Center are available to all students from their first days on campus. Tulane Academic Advisors guide each student through the process of course selection, deciding on a major, graduating, and setting and achieving career goals.

Tulane Academic Advisors are also career advisors, so students have one main point of contact for both academic and career advice. This seamless transition allows students to begin planning far into the future as early as their freshman year. In addition to an academic advisor, each student at Tulane has a support network consisting of faculty advisors, resident advisors, and deans.
