Tulane allows students from other colleges and universities to take summer classes through our undergraduate college, Newcomb-Tulane College (NTC). Online and in-person summer courses are held during three sessions to offer maximum flexibility to meet your needs. The 2023 Summer Sessions include:
Students must have earned a high school diploma, or the equivalent, by the beginning of the summer session.
Students are expected to have completed stated course prerequisites by the start of the session. This is not applicable to every course. Please read the course descriptions carefully to find out if there are required prerequisites.
Summer 2023 will have courses both online and in-person featuring interactive, engaging remote and in-person learning experiences. We will be publishing our Summer 2023 courses soon so be sure to visit our site and keep checking the Schedule of Classes for the most up-to-date information and to register for summer classes.
In the meantime, if there are classes you would like to be offered in NTC Summer School, let us know by emailing summerschool@tulane.
NTC Summer School will update the Schedule of Classes as needed throughout the registration period. In the event a course does not have sufficient registrations, NTC Summer School may need to cancel or modify the course.
