Admission to Tulane is extremely competitive, and our admission counselors look for high levels of academic and extracurricular achievement; however, we’re building more than a class—we’re building a community. We review each applicant with an eye toward shaping Tulane and making it stronger and more vibrant each year, so it’s important that we look at each applicant as a whole. An admission decision will never be rendered based on a single piece of information but rather on the overall combination of attributes and aspects that make each student applicant unique. Watch our Tips for High School Juniors video to learn more about what we look for in a college application and to see how our holistic review process has allowed us to build classes of increasing academic strength and diversity.
